The Men of the Red Label Evolution set is reinforced with a versatile 'gu-no-me' stitch pattern and robust #6000 grade cotton - a combination that provides durability and unparalleled comfort around the ears and forehead. The Kote, meticulously fashioned in Nara, Japan, are a testament to Japanese craftsman precision, featuring the industry-renowned 'Kazutaka Cut' for a bespoke grip. Each glove is filled with deer hair to the customer's preference, and constructed with Japanese-made Bushu Ichi '40 Kan' grade fabric with options for "Blue Lite" or "Tough" orizashi to suit. The Dou stands as a customizable centerpiece - with dou-mune options of either kata-oshi kurozan leather or indigo cow leather for the dou-mune (included in the list price); and customisable colours for the synthetic 50 piece dou-dai. Completing the set is a #6000 grade cotton and aizome-dyed Tare, ensuring a consistent aesthetic across the entire set. The Tare's soft obi is designed to wrap tightly around the body for support, offering a secure yet unrestrictive fit. It is finished with gaku-sashi stitching and accented with navy blue deer leather.

Buying a Custom Set
As a bespoke creation, the Red Label Evolution set provides a level of fit and comfort unrivaled by similarly priced off-the-shelf items. Constructed from scratch for each customer, please anticipate a lead time of 6 months from payment to dispatch. Due to the customised nature of this kendogu, precise body measurements are essential. For guidance on how to measure yourself for this custom-made set, please follow our detailed instructions. To enhance the custom fit of our handcrafted kote, we've incorporated two additional measurements, 'L' and 'M'. For accurate measurement instructions, please refer to our guide. To the best of your ability, please upload one document (i.e. PDF) with all measurement photos attached. We recommend that you seek the help of others when measuring and taking photos. If the craftsmen are unsure about the place/position of the measurements, we will double check with you before commencing with the build (you don't buy custom gear everyday, so we do everything we can to be thorough with sizes and measurements!)
